The UCAS process

The Sixth Form team, including all KS5 teachers and tutors operate a thorough and detailed UCAS application process to support all students who wish to apply to university.  Please see here for our UCAS Survival Guide that aims to assist students and staff in the process.

In January of Year 12, the Sixth Form team run a student and parent information evening called Next Steps, part of which introduces the university application process via UCAS. The UCAS website is where all students apply and it can be accessed here:  https://www.ucas.com/   Through the tutor registration study programme, and out in school Next Step days in the summer term, all students will be supported in registering and understanding the entire application process from start to finish. Personal statement guidance and support via the tutor will be received along with guidance on course selection. It is the Sixth Form aim that every student is supported to ensure the highest standard of application for every student as you will see from the UCAS Survival Guide.
