Samuel Whitbread Academy

Sixth Form Open Evening

Tuesday 16th November 2021
3:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Sixth Form at Samuel Whitbread Academy will be hosting an open evening for year 11 students (internal and external) and their families on Tuesday 16th November from 3.30 pm – 7.00 pm. At the open evening, prospective students, parents, and carers can speak with staff and students in each course that is on offer. A recorded presentation (not live due to COVID and Public Health England recommendations) from Mr Huckle,  Associate Principal – Head of Sixth Form, is available below alongside recorded presentations from each course leader and recorded discussions with students on each course. We feel it is important you hear from the students on each course alongside speaking to the course leaders at the open evening.

Each year the Sixth Form welcomes students from SWA and other schools due to our outstanding Sixth Form facilities, expert teaching and a wide range academic and enrichment options.

We are extremely proud of all students who progress through our Sixth Form.  If you would like to take a look at where some of our Sixth Form students have ended up, please take a look at our alumni page.

All information on Sixth Form admissions, entry requirements and courses can be found under our Applications & Admissions page
