Safeguarding and Well-being
The Sixth Form at Samuel Whitbread Academy follows the same Safeguarding policies as the lower years. We support, guide and advise our Sixth Form students in a variety of areas with an open door policy for any student who has worries, concerns or needs to access a person for advice and support. Our dedicated Pastoral and Academic Support Officer is part of the whole school safeguarding team can be found in the main Sixth Form office. All form tutors are available for an immediate conversation every morning. Please access the following area of the main school website to be fully informed of the whole school safeguarding policies: https://www.samuelwhitbread.org.uk/page/?title=Safeguarding&pid=22 Please also access our Sixth Form well-being and support booklet.
The Sixth Form has a well-being committee that meets once a fortnight to bring to the table any worries, issues or concerns that have been raised by the Sixth Form student community.
