Curriculum & Courses
The curriculum in the Sixth Form is one that provides:
- Academic success
- Stimulation and challenge
- Choice and diversity
- Progression onto a range of post Sixth Form options
- Access for all who meet the entry requirements
- Encouragement for independent and life-long learning
The size of the Sixth Form means our curriculum offer at post 16 is second to none. We offer 34 Level 3 courses. We recommend students study three courses (with an exception of the most able students and students taking Further Mathematics who often take four). Alongside these courses, we offer a range of enrichment courses including Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) which is highly regarding by universities, Level 3 mathematical studies along with non-qualification timetabled and non-timetabled enrichment opportunities.
