Unlock Your Potential: A Super Curriculum for Independent Learning

At Samuel Whitbread Academy we believe that learning should extend far beyond the classroom. That's why we've designed an exciting and dynamic Super Curriculum, offering you the opportunity to dive deeper into subjects, explore your unique interests, and ignite a lifelong passion for learning.

This curriculum goes beyond traditional lessons, providing you with a range of engaging activities and resources that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Whether you're fascinated by history, passionate about science, or keen to discover new skills in the arts or languages, accessing the Super Curriculum allows you to explore the subjects you love, at your own pace, and in your own way. Let's embark on this adventure together and see where your interests take you!

There are three ways you can access the Super Curriculum now and collect some fantastic rewards for taking part (from praise points, to jump-the-queue passes or Amazon vouchers).

  1. Accessing the Super Curriculum created by Samuel Whitbread Academy: There are 5 types of activities available for each subject across all three key stages. Please challenge yourself to complete activities in an alternative key stage to your own, then to get your rewards, log them on the google form.
    • Super Curriculum KS3 & KS4
    • Super Curriculum KS5

  2. Exploring beyond the classroom: Super Curricular work can also include trips and visits that you have participated in through school or with your family. Please log any images and note what you have learnt from it on the google form.

  3. Using the Super Curricular resources available on Unifrog
The Super Curriculum also includes activities that are available through Unifrog. If you log into Unifrog, go to ‘subjects’, type in a subject then click on ‘go’, you can then click on the ‘profile’ of an aspect of that subject, it will take you to a site where you are recommended read, watch and listen tasks. Many of these are linked directly from unifrog. So for History the example is https://www.unifrog.org/student/subjects/keywords/history. Once you have completed any of these tasks go to the SWA Super Curriculum google form and fill it in. You will then be rewarded for taking part.
