Samuel Whitbread Academy

The Super Curriculum

At Samuel Whitbread Academy we believe that learning should extend far beyond the classroom. We have designed the Super Curriculum, offering an exciting and dynamic opportunity to dive deeper into subjects, explore your unique interests and ignite a lifelong passion for learning.

This curriculum goes beyond traditional lessons, providing you with a range of engaging activities and resources that inspire curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. Whether you're fascinated by history, passionate about science, or keen to discover new skills in the arts or languages, accessing the Super Curriculum allows you to explore the subjects you love, at your own pace and in your own way. Let's embark on this adventure together and see where your interests take you!

Accessing the Super Curriculum

There are three ways to access the Super Curriculum and collect fantastic rewards for taking part (from praise points, to jump-the-queue passes or Amazon vouchers).

  1. Through your subjects: There are 5 types of activities available for each subject across all three key stages (see pdf files below), or it can be an activity assigned by your teacher.
    • Super Curriculum KS3 & KS4
    • Super Curriculum KS5
Please challenge yourself to complete activities in an alternative key stage to your own. To get your rewards, log them on The Super Curriculum Google Form.

  2. Exploring beyond the classroom: You can incorporate trips and visits that you have participated in, whether through school or with your family. To document this learning, please log any relevant images and clearly note what you have learnt from the experience on The Super Curriculum Google Form.

  1. Unifrog: Super Curriculum activities are available through Unifrog
Log into Unifrog, go to ‘subjects’, type in a subject, then click on ‘go’, you can then click on the ‘profile’ of an aspect of that subject. It will take you to a site where you are recommended to read, watch and listen to tasks. Many of these are linked directly from Unifrog. Here is an example for History. Once you have completed a task, log them on The Super Curriculum Google Form. You will then be rewarded for taking part.
