We were delighted to welcome back former student Ellis Blake, co-founder of creative media agency Project XIV, who returned to SWA to share his professional journey with our Film & Media students.

Ellis spoke passionately about his pathway from school to the creative industries, offering valuable insight into the realities of working in film and media. He showcased a range of exciting projects he has been involved in and shared practical advice about building experience, developing creative skills and pursuing opportunities with confidence.

As part of his visit, Ellis also delivered an engaging workshop for our Year 9 students, who are about to begin their Film & Media studies. The session provided an inspiring introduction to the subject and a real-world perspective on where their studies could take them.

We are incredibly grateful to Ellis for taking the time to return and invest in our students. Seeing former students succeed — and give back — is always a proud moment for our school community.
