This week, our Year 12 and 13 students had an incredible opportunity to spend a day at Network Rail HQ, immersing themselves in the world of Degree Apprenticeships.

The visit was a huge success, thanks to the warm welcome from Helen and her team of dedicated degree apprentices. Hearing directly from those already on the programme provided our students with authentic, practical information about the variety of career paths Network Rail offers, from engineering to finance and technology.

The day was structured to fully equip our students for applying to these highly sought-after programmes. They worked on making their applications more competitive, experienced the pressure of assessment centre challenges, and benefited from individual mock interviews with constructive feedback.

The inspiring personal stories and practical advice shared by the degree apprentices left a lasting impression. Thank you again to Network Rail for showcasing such excellent career opportunities and for helping our students feel confident about pursuing their post-school ambitions!
