It has been an incredible season for Whitbread Racing, who capped off 2026 by competing at the prestigious Greenpower International Finals at the Goodwood Circuit!

The team's journey to the finals was confirmed after an impressive 35-mile drive at Mallory Park, securing their qualification. Making the achievement even more remarkable, the racing team were one of two debut teams nationwide to earn a place at the International Finals.

As race day arrived, the team headed to Goodwood Circuit full of excitement. 

Despite a heartbreaking race 1 leaving them unplaced, the team regrouped and refocused, ready to take to the track again for race 2. Then, in a showcase of true determination, they accelerated to the finish line, securing an outstanding 14th place out of 51! 

One for the Samuel Whitbread Academy history books!

In their debut season, finishing in the top 15 is an incredible achievement. A massive congratulations to the team who showcased teamwork and resilience this season. As well as a huge thank you to the staff whose organisation and support made this achievement possible!
