Lights, Camera, Action: Media Students Film Local Lower School Promos

Our Sixth Form students, Charlie R, Jamie G, Lana R, Maelie R and Tilly W swapped the classroom for a week of work experience filming promotional video and social media reels for our Shefford Lower School and Cotton End Lower School.
The students took complete creative and technical control of the projects from start to finish. They spent hours planning, storyboarding, writing scripts, presenting, filming and editing. Working under tight deadlines, they all showed incredible maturity as they directed younger children and collaborated with Primary School staff to capture the unique spirit of each school.
We are incredibly proud of how these students represented our Academy. They demonstrated outstanding professionalism, creativity and leadership throughout the week – serving as brilliant ambassadors for both our school and specifically the Film & Media department. Keep an eye out for their finished promo videos showcasing our local lower schools very soon!
Next Stop: Cambodia!
The dedication of these students doesn't stop at the camera lens. Lana, Maelie and Tilly will be walking Hadrian's Wall to help fundraise for an upcoming Camps International Cambodia Expedition. They would appreciate your support and any donations you can spare to help reach the fundraising goal for this incredible trip. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-lanas-journey-to-make-a-difference-in-cambodia
