Our Year 13 and Year 11 Proms provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate the end of an important chapter at Samuel Whitbread Academy. Held at The Marquee in Bedford, the Year 13 Prom took place on Friday 3rd July, followed by the Year 11 Prom on Monday 13th July, with both evenings creating lasting memories for students and staff alike.

It was wonderful to see our students dressed for the occasion as they enjoyed an evening of music, dancing, great food and celebration after all their hard work throughout the years. The events were a fitting way to recognise their achievements before they embark on their next steps.

Our Year 13 students also enjoyed the ever-popular prom raffle, with some fantastic prizes on offer, including a dinner for two at The Shard. Meanwhile, our Year 11 students certainly made an entrance, arriving in an incredible variety of vehicles, from impressive sports cars and a convertible London taxi to a four-horse carriage and even a tuk tuk!

A huge thank-you goes to the Prom Committees, the Sixth Form Team, the Year 11 Team and all the staff who dedicated their time to planning and supporting these fantastic events. Their hard work ensured two memorable evenings that our students will look back on for years to come.
