High Attainers Celebration Afternoon

On Thursday, 10th July, the Academy hosted our High Attainers Celebration Afternoon, recognising the dedication, curiosity and commitment of students who have excelled both inside and beyond the classroom.

The afternoon began with a celebratory lunch before students were presented with certificates acknowledging their achievements across a wide range of academic and enrichment activities. The event recognised students who have demonstrated exceptional independent learning, resilience and a genuine passion for developing their knowledge and skills.

The Awards celebrated success in independent research projects, including the Level 2 Higher Project Qualification (HPQ), a nationally recognised qualification worth half a GCSE, completed by students in Year 9, as well as participation in The Brilliant Club programme.

Students were also recognised for their leadership and contribution to the wider school community through initiatives such as Model United Nations, equality and diversity projects, and the Society Leadership Team. In addition, the celebration highlighted achievements in STEM and engineering, alongside students who have challenged themselves through mathematics, science and our Super-Curriculum, which encourages independent study and learning beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to all the students recognised during the afternoon. Their enthusiasm for learning, willingness to embrace new challenges and commitment to academic excellence are something to be incredibly proud of.
