A Magical Day Behind the Scenes

Year 9 students explore creativity and craftsmanship at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour
On Tuesday 2nd December, Year 9 students enjoyed an unforgettable trip to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, where they were given a fascinating insight into the world of film-making. The visit began with an exclusive behind-the-scenes lesson, allowing students to see authentic props from the films up close, including costumes, prosthetics and detailed 3D plans used in the design and construction of the sets.
Students then had the opportunity to explore the rest of the studio tour, discovering the creativity, skill and attention to detail that brought the iconic films to life. From famous sets to memorable props, there was plenty of magic to take in, with students also enjoying a well-earned Butterbeer along the way.

The trip offered a valuable learning experience, highlighting the wide range of careers involved in the film industry and inspiring students to think about how subjects such as design, art and technology are used in real-world settings. We would like to congratulate Year 9 on their excellent behaviour throughout the day and extend a sincere thank you to the staff who accompanied them and helped make the trip such a success.
