Year 10s Magical Food Adventure in Disneyland Paris

Last week, a group of our Year 10 Food Tech students had the opportunity to combine two of life’s great pleasures, travel and food, on a unique culinary trip to Disneyland Paris. Over four unforgettable days, students explored the sights and sounds of the Disney parks while sampling a range of delicious meals.
The trip began with dinner at Billy Bob’s Restaurant in Disney Village, a vibrant buffet offering everything from barbecue favourites to fresh salads and indulgent desserts. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day in the parks and set the tone for the food-focused adventure ahead.
A standout meal came later at Brasserie Rosalie, a beautifully designed French restaurant that gave students a taste of elegant Parisian dining. The menu was a hit across the board, with the chocolate mousse dessert emerging as a clear favourite.
Of course, the trip wasn’t just about the food. Students had plenty of time to experience the magic of the Disney parks, from thrilling rides and themed lands to meeting much-loved characters. The highlight for many was the spectacular evening drone and fireworks show, which lit up the sky above Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in perfect time to iconic Disney music.
The Year 10 trip was a fantastic opportunity to experience food and culture in an exciting, real-world setting. Students returned with full stomachs, fantastic memories, and a renewed sense of curiosity about the world of food beyond the classroom.
