Fond Farewells to Year 11 and Year 13

As exam season gets underway, we’ve had the bittersweet pleasure of saying goodbye (for now!) to our wonderful Year 11 and Year 13 students.

Year 13 marked their final day on Friday, 9th May, with a joyful celebration on the school field. The afternoon was filled with sunshine, music, heartfelt farewell messages, and a sizzling BBQ. Many students embraced the tradition of fancy dress with enthusiasm and creativity, dressing to this year’s theme of Favourite Film & TV Shows, and their outfits certainly did not disappoint. While they may be stepping into the next exciting chapter of their lives, we remind Year 13 that they are always welcome on site between exams for study spaces and pastoral support.

Year 11 had their last official day on Wednesday,14th May, celebrating in true summer style. The afternoon was all about memories and laughter, as students signed shirts and yearbooks, enjoyed a visit from the ice cream truck, and threw themselves (sometimes literally!) into some classic Sports Day fun, including an egg-and-spoon race and an epic tug of war.

To both year groups: we are incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved so far. We wish you all the very best in your exams and in whatever exciting adventures come next. You’ll always be part of our school community, and we look forward to hearing about the brilliant things you go on to do!
