SWA Sixth Form Football Team Secures Place in National Final

The SWA Sixth Form Boys' Football Team has reached the final of the ESFA Schools’ National Cup, an exceptional accomplishment in a competition involving over 350 schools across the country. This marks the team’s third appearance in the national final in just four years, underscoring the strength and consistency of our football programme.

The final will take place at Stoke City’s Bet365 Stadium on Tuesday 6th May at 1:30pm, where the team will compete against Millfield School, a renowned name in school sport.

After progressing through eight highly competitive rounds, the team has demonstrated outstanding resilience, commitment, and teamwork, particularly from our Year 13 students, whose leadership has been instrumental in this success.
