We are extremely proud as a school and a music department of SWA alumnus Maddie Morris who has won an extremely prestigious award; BBC Radio 2 Folk Musician of the year award. Maddie is in her second year at Leeds Music Conservatoire studying Folk Music. Since starting this course Maddie has done many fantastic things including a commission to go to the European refugee camp to write music. We are extremely proud of Maddie. This award is thoroughly deserved and is a sign of things to come.
